yo!
i'm at work..as usual i slack whenever possible (i.e. whenever my superior isn't around to see such "atrocities") HAHA
anyway at my tuition centre there are 4 exits..two front (main) and two back (abit dark and menacing kind).. so one fine day (which is last saturday), a tutor discovered two youngsters with syringes injecting themselves on the wrists, so all of us went in a frenzy..eh..at least ME went into a frenzy..i never see or got in such close contact with drug addicts before (though there's at least 300metres between me and them)..so we called the police,when the police came we had to open the back and oh-so-creaky door so they can catch those youngsters..anyway the door creaked and the youngsters fled..WONDERFUL..the police did not give chase..instead they came back to the main counter and tell us words like "please be careful in future as we often get such cases around here." errr?like hello!! OFTEN?? i feel so safe with the police..
oh!anyway i'm quitting!!woohoo!!me and wenting shall count down to 30th june..our last day of work!! YAYEE!! ppl lets go out more in july! before those ppl who need to fly, fly away, and those ppl who need to go into medicine mug like crazy..
i watched poseidon!! its darn good..well, at least to me..i tink the critics are so very wrong,since they said poseidon is lousy..one of the main comments was like "there were practically no dialogues in the second half of the movie" huh? they are trying to save their lives! like they can crack jokes and talk more abt themselves as they were swimming thru those water?? i tink they will only gurgle.. bleah..so anyway after the movie i was so darn terrified i re-considered my urge to go on Superstar Virgo..
But...
i wanna go on cruise! anyone?

hey guys, we veri happening oso lehz! we watched midnight movie last thurs... kinky boots... well, to me its not a veri nice show, but its not tt bad la.. hahaz.. though i feel like killing kel li after watching (its his idea to watch it) hehez...
anyway.. during the dinner, we talked abt gg to redang in june.. coz heard tt guys have block leave in june... according to jielin, the whole trip, including hotel, transport, food and snorkeling, costs abt $300... its like a beach resort i think... gera suggested gg there b4 but i told her too mafan.. hahaz.. but since jielin they all oso mention, then maybe we should go there.. sounds fun.. so spread the msg ard wo.. we'll confirm whether we're gg anot sometime later... so our class oso wun lose to senior class k... hahaaz...
anyway, settlers' cafe sounds great! yuantying, find one weekend then we ask everyone to go la.. okie??? hope to see u guys soon...

The cost of maleness takes on new meaning as researchers have discovered that bats with the largest testicles have the smallest brains.Testicles are almost always bigger in animal species in which females mate with multiple partners, says Scott Pitnick, an evolutionary biologist at Syracuse University. When females are promiscuous, the sperm of different males must compete to fertilise each egg. Because males with more sperm have a better chance of producing offspring, the frequency of large testicles in those species increases. The pattern holds among all animals, including primates. Gorillas, who keep their harem close, have small testicles, while libertine chimpanzees have large ones. Those of humans, whose mating habits fall in between, are midsize.
Testicles and brains both require a lot of metabolic energy - and among certain bats, brains seem to have lost out. Pitnick and colleagues Kate Jones of the Zoological Society of London and Gerald Wilkinson of the University of Maryland analyzed the relative brain and testis mass of 334 bat species. In species with unfaithful females, males invest almost fives times as much in testicles and 27 percent less in brains. The testicles of the most cuckolded bats approach one-tenth of their body mass. For men, Pitnick says, that would be "like walking around with bowling balls between our legs."

haha it's been really fun reading the class blog! lots of new entries flooding in all of a sudden, some of them really nonsensical, but nonetheless it's still nice to see everyone blogging so furiously =)
hmm class outing? i'm okies with anything, really. will be POP-ing soon from tekong (whew! finally no more a recruit), so have lots of time to waste. coz actually i'm supposed to have completed the course by end may, but dearest commanders prefer to have a combined parade with the rest of the school, so that means i only get out on 7 june (same day as kel li's bdae! haha) but in any case, if got class outing tell the guys okies? coz in-camp no internet, no newspapers, no radio hahahaha. so we lead a very isolated existence sighs, and civilian life becomes very exciting all of a sudden =)
interesting stories? got lots actually, especially if you're in my coy hahaha. like my sergeant, who just realised that his gf's my buddy's sister! so awkward right hahah. but then again, i think nothing surprises me anymore. in a platoon with 2 pple AWOL (1 disappeared in malaysia, the other probably lost in the concrete jungle of orchard road haha), lots of pple going detention barracks for fighting, pple signing up for extra guard duties because of non-shiny boots and homogenously green uniforms, it's hard to find something new and shocking.
hmm okies, had my say le =P haha do blog more often kkz? then got more stories and updates to read!

Okies, some updates about me.. Ilm still working at biopolis now doing the same old cast gel, run gel, western blot routine so nothing much to talk about. haha. but i'll end my attachment in june and yay! i'll be free. :) then, maybe i'll go find other jobs or maybe go scoop ice cream! hehehehe:) haha. being an accident prone person, think i'll probable die sooner if i stay in the lab longer, so i guess it's better not to extend my attachment. hah!
Okies, girls, more updates? oh and guys too. :) army's got lots of interesting stories..haha

hey! class outing on sat was great...though some of u look pretty sian at first... so sorry!! we din watch movie in the end.. but k lunch was fun=) (though i can't sing well) but i noe some of u dun like to k tt much... hehez... but we gers quite enjoyed it as we sing and jump=P then after tt we went to eat dessert... then went arcade to play... guys u all still like to shoot even outside ur camp... hahaz.. we played daytona oso... then we played pool... we gers are pathetic at it.. we din even managed to finish one game at all... hahaz... then me sok yuantying and david rushed off to watch michelle and wenting perform at hc band concert..
anyway.. its nice to meet up with all of u... any suggestions on where to go for the next outing??

a little update on my life... I AM JOBLESS... my previous job at sp ended... it was quite an experience.. admin work was the usual boring stuff but answering phone calls was so challenging... parents would call in to scold us for not giving their son/daughters the course they want, say its unfair, we should give to the ppl who r interested and not those with better grades.. all sorts of strange theories from them... but there were also nice callers of coz.. now i dun need to pick up phone and say "sp admissions" anymore(it became sort of an habit esp during the peak period when we were flooded by calls, i nearly pick up my house phone and say tt ) equals to no income!! so i can't be rich hehez... kel ng... what business are u setting up? do u wan to employ any workers? hahaz...
i dun mind going clubbing if alot of ppl go... i'm quite free these few weeks coz i'm giving myself a rest while i slowly find a job (actually i'm juz plain lazy to look for one, so got any lobang pls let me noe)
yay! we gg class outing tml=) in fact, its 1250am now.. so its today! quite excited to meet u all again.. we haven seen each other for a long time.. for those who can't make it.. its ok.. we'll always have a next time right?

helllo people, i miss u guys (n girls) alot!!!!! josh is rite! i'm out of course haha... but don't worry bout me, i'm not really sad about it, in fact i'm kinda relieved. got more time to do my own stuff now - learning driving, giving tuition and starting a business ;) and just in case u might wanna know why i am out of course, it's cause my knee cartilage cracked somehow. but it's recover-able i think, though the doc said it might take 1 or 2 years -__-!
anyway girls, do blog more to let us know how you are doing! it'll be nice to read this blog and find out how everyone is doing during book outs :) oh and about the outing i suggest we go clubbing! hahaha cause we are all big kids and are earning money(very little but still earning) now, and many of us haven't even went to a club b4! how can?!?!? lol we must live life to the fullest so that we can fit in in uni rite? hahaha go K box also quite fuN! lol but honestly just do anything except shopping (especially window shopping) please.
i wanna be free, rich and studying overseas. that's my birthday wish.
